Container Ship
"A cargo ship that carries all of its load in truck-size intermodal containers, in a technique called containerization."

Definition
Container Ships are the primary means of transporting non-bulk manufactured goods. They are designed with cellular holds to stack 20-foot and 40-foot containers securely.
Measurement (TEU)
Capacity is measured in TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit). A 20-foot container is 1 TEU, while a 40-foot container is 2 TEU.
Evolution
- Feeder: < 3,000 TEU (Serves smaller ports)
- Panamax: ~4,000 - 5,000 TEU
- Post-Panamax: > 10,000 TEU
- ULCV (Ultra Large Container Vessel): > 20,000 TEU (Can carry over $1B worth of goods)
