IoT Running-Hours Counter

Automated Machinery Monitoring System

This project involves the development and installation of a custom IoT solution designed to automatically track the running hours of critical heavy machinery. By digitizing this data collection, we eliminated manual logbook errors and provided real-time visibility into asset utilization.

The system uses vibration and current sensors to detect machine operation, processing the data locally on an ESP32 microcontroller before transmitting it to a central dashboard via MQTT/HTTP. This data directly feeds into the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) to trigger maintenance schedules automatically.
